Rate Limiting

What is Rate Limiting

An API rate limit is a way for Poppulo to ensure stability of the platform. To ensure a good experience for all users of the platform, Poppulo will monitor - and if required limit - the API requests made by an integration.

How Poppulo Approaches Rate Limiting

Poppulo actively monitors usage of the API. If we detect API usage trends that put an undue service-affecting load on the system, we will contact the customer in question to understand their usage patterns and work with them to address the issue.

In the case of immediate impacts on platform quality of service, Poppulo may limit or block traffic from an integration for a period of time.

Poppulo is developing an automatically applied API rate limiting system. Operations within the GraphQL API Reference section will be updated with their rate limits.

Help with Usage Patterns and Limits
